Product Details
Like their namesake, our line of foldable Nomad panels are designed for life on the move. Our most portable large solar offering, Nomads fold down to a quarter of their full size, making them ideal for situations where power needs are large and space is limited. The Nomad 200 provides up to 200 watts of solar to keep a Yeti power station charged and everything from laptops to fridges to medical devices running for days on end.
Product Manual
• | Protective Enclosure: Four monocrystalline panels enclosed in a protective case fold down to a compact profile for easy storage. Hanging loops allow you to strap the panel to vehicles, tents, and more. |
• | Secure Placement: Built-in legs pop out to stabilize the panel while solar charging and fasten in place against the panel when not in use. Each leg features a stake-down loop for added security. |
• | Integrated Cables: Included 6ft APP charging cable integrates seamlessly with Goal Zero Yeti Power Stations and stores away in our signature built-in mesh case for convenience. |
• | Compatibility: The Nomad 200 is the perfect option for your Goal Zero Power Packs. Great for recharging the Yeti 400, Yeti 400 Lithium, Yeti 500X, Yeti 1000 Lithium, Yeti 1400 Lithium, Yeti 1500X, Yeti 3000, Yeti 3000X and Yeti 6000X Power Stations. |
• | Optimal Solar Placement: Add the Anderson 15 ft Extension Cable for extra distance between your solar panels and Power Stations/Devices! |
• | Best Uses: Solar panels do not hold a charge, they produce power when exposed to sunlight. For the best charging experience, pair with a power bank to keep devices charged on the go. |
• | NOTE: Connecting a Yeti 400 or Yeti 500X to the Nomad 200 requires an Anderson to 8mm Connector cable |

I originally bought the Boulder200(70lbs) - hard to move around. The nomad is great because of it's weight, although the price is very expensive. It appears to be well-built and sturdy enough. ETP sales staff are top notch and very helpful/customer focused.
Pros
- Lightweight as compared to the Boulder line
Cons
- Price is very high.

I use it for emergency backup and to lower my electric bill on cloudy days.

The panels allow quick charging while using the Yeti, which is totally cool! Now I can use it daily.

is it weather proof and stay out side in the rain ?
1 Answer
Yes, they can indeed. Just be sure to protect the cable connections, as getting moisture inside of the cable connection will damage the panel. Thank you for your inquiry!
