Q: Why is there batteries if this light is solar?
A: All solar lights have internal batteries for the purpose of power storage. During the daytime, the solar panel recharges the internal batteries so the light can function at night.
Q: How long will this light stay on at night?
A: The Maxsa Solar Floodlight will stay on for up to 10 hours on the power saving setting and up to 5 hours on full power settting. You can adjust the brightness settings from the button on the side of the fixture.
Q: Does this Solar Floodlight have an On/Off switch?
A: Yes, there is an On/Off switch located on the side of the flood light. The light also has a photo cell sensor so when you have the light switch to On it will automatically go on at dusk and turn off by dawn.

Nice and Bright, easy to setup
For a relatively small and cheap solar flood, this device performs very well. Brightness is as described (approximately 60w bulb), and two of these are enough to gently light our entire 15' x 50' driveway. It's very easy to setup and seals appear to be fairly good quality. I'd certainly recommend this item!

ConsThat light bracket must be removed for installation and little tedious with the little washers to keep track of. Lost them a couple times while mounting.
