This light has the gentle floodlight I'm looking for. Unfortunately, the two positions for attaching it to the spike or the wall/floor mount only allow it to cast light horizontally, like at the side of a building. But I want to use it to cast light DOWN from the fascia board at the corner of my house to light my path from my patio to the garbage cans at the side of the house. And the lamp and spike/wall mounts are affixed only by sliding the slight wedge shape at the top of the spike/mount. It relies on GRAVITY to hold it in position. The lamp will slide out on that wedge position if you tilt it. So it doesn't work for my purposes. Does anyone have any suggestions for adapting this for my intended purpose? Is there another wall mount that might make it work? Would superglue hold in exterior winter/storm conditions?
