Premium Classic Solar Pillar Light Review
Just wanted to let your company know that the solar column light I purchased last year is AMAZING!! So many people compliment as they pass by. Someone even rang my bell to ask where we purchased it. It stays on for SO MANY hours. Thanks for an awesome product!

As advertised - very nice
Perfect addition to out Mailbox Pedestal.
ProsDesigned for a pedestal, looks better that a pole lamp stuck on a pedestal.
ConsCannot mount permanently to allow battery replacement. Light switch to easy for pranksters to switch off.

no directions came with 2 of them which i have installed.
Does the battery need to be set in the battery socket?
The battery is already pre-installed and does not require any set up. Simply place the solar light in direct sunlight, let it charge in the "Off" position (middle position of switch) for three full days, then turn it to the "On" position (left for Warm White or right for Cool White) and it start to illuminate at dusk. Must you remove the light from the pillar to replace the battery?
The battery for this fixture is located directly underneath the top portion of the fixture The top meaning the portion with the solar panel. You can just remove the top flap and the battery will be located under there. There is no need to remove the light from the pillar. Thank you for your inquiry!

How does this attach to pole
For this fixture, there will be four pre-drilled holes in the base. Based on the surface you are mounting to, the hardware utilize will differ but you will be mounting the fixture with the four pre-drilled holes. Thank you for your inquiry!

Does solar panel draw sunlight well even when most days have an overcast?
For the Premium Classic Pillar Light, this fixture does require 6-10 hours of direct sunlight to operate full dusk to dawn daily. If you have long periods of time without any sunlight, it will have a direct effect on the illumination time of the fixtures. Thank you for your inquiry!

For this fixture, we unfortunately do not have an installation drawing. However the fixture does come with pre-drilled holes and you will just have to make sure the object that you are drilling into is large enough so that the light can be placed on top without any over hanging or overlapping parts. The Premium Classic light features an On/Off switch located at the very bottom of the fixture, which is not accessible once installed. All of the pillar lights operate within the dusk to dawn cycle. The Premium 36 LED Solar Light for Square Posts or Pillars features an easily accessible On/Off switch that is located under the lamp top overhang. However, it will still only illuminate when dark enough:

The Premium Classic Solar Pillar Light may dim slightly once the battery starts to reach the end of it's lifespan. However, the batteries can and should be replaced anywhere between 1-3 years.
