Not good for North facing covered entrances.

On a full charge (8 hours in full sun), it looked and worked great. However, the next day it didn't do nearly as well. By day 3, it was less than a common cigarette lighter as far as lighting goes. My front porch is the common inset of about 4-5 ft. square and about a 15 ft ceiling. Unless your entryway fixture gets a good dose of direct sunlight, plan on detaching the top to charge it up daily somewhere that does.
Pros
- Gives good lighting if full sun is available during the day.
Cons
- Does not light sufficiently if no direct sun is available.

Can you please find out for me what is the width of the wall mounting bracket for this lamp, the specifications show the lamp height 21 inches, lamp width 9 inches, wall bracket 12.5 inches high but I need to know what is the width of the wall bracket in order to know if it will fit the aluminum fence post where I intend to mount this lamps.
