These lights are exactly what I needed for our dark back yard. I installed them on deck posts facing rearward towards the yard with the motion sensors gauged to activate the lights from the two entrance gates. Lights up the entire yard. Not a big yard but the powerful 800+ lumens does the trick. Really like the opruonal multi second on setting.
ProsGreat visibility effectively wireless lights.

Very bright, looks intimidating
This Solar Security Light uses the high-tech SMD LED's; so the light that is emitted is brighter than the ordinary LED bulbs that are used in some outdoor solar lighting. The weather-proof casing should be advantageous for installation in moisture prone climate where there is periodic precipitation - it gets foggy and misty in my area. It took some trial and error to adjust the variable controls - timing, darkness sensitivity, perimeter activation - to my preference. Also, it took patience and precision to adjust the elevation of the motion sensor component so as not to activate the light when vehicles or objects passed by. The lens and configuration of the LED's on the unit give the appearance of a giant eye looking at the observer. A friend who saw my security light thought the LED lens unit looked light a covert camera; this Security Light does look intimidating and may be a good crime deterrent.
