It reads 5W speaker. Is this correct?
Also, can the IP44 withstand rain or possible drop into a pool?

Yes, that is correct. A product that has a rating of IP44 means that it is protected against solid objects that are bigger than 1mm and water splashing from all directions. I would not recommend any submerging or intentional exposure to water. Thank you for your inquiry!
