Does it come with a mounting kit?

Yes, this comes with concrete mounting bolts. However if you would like to mount in the ground you can use the Gama Sonic Mini EZ Anchor Bollard and Post Lamp Base.

How is this lamp secured in place and stabilized? Do you have to put it in a cement base?

Concrete bolt anchors are included with the unit for mounting. However, we also offer a mini E-Z anchor, Model, GS-3M (sold separately) which is available to securely mount the unit as well. Thank you for your inquiry!
