There are 3 ways to charge your Goal Zero Yeti 1500X:

The Sun
Recharge from the sun by connecting a compatible solar panel. Charge times is dependent on the size of the solar panel. The Boulder 100 Briefcase will provide 100W of solar and fully recharge the Yeti 1500X in 18-36 hours of sun.

Wall
Plug it into the wall. Fully recharges in 14 hours using the included 120W Power Supply AC Wall Charger. The optional 230W Power Supply halves the charge and full recharges the Yeti 1500X in only 7 hours (Sold Separately).

12V
The Goal Zero Yeti 1500X can be charged by plugging into your vehicle's 12V outlet using the Goal Zero Yeti Lithium 12V Car Charging Cable. NOTE: Do not attempt to charge your Yeti from a 12V source using any other cable. Doing so may cause damage to the unit.

The unit works as promised. The app is easy even for the technology challenged. I also purchased the Boulder briefcase solar 200 with 30’ cable. Everything worked perfectly on the first try.
I use for off grid camping on unimproved property. I have charged my battery powered weed eater, and it will run my small, corded, chain saw for a bit.
I camped 5 days with lights (Christmas tree) phone, and small fan. No problems.
Please know that these items are every pound indicated in the specs. Go smaller if you can’t lift 48 pounds!

Instant out of the box satisfaction No Techie Needed

I got the 3000 actually and It's been purring along for a 8 months now better than half the time cycling between 50% and 90% plus most days discharged over hours, 12 hrs to get it down to 90% plus discharge.
I got it for blackout backups at rural property but after Covid hit kept it in the 'city' along with myself and use if for load shifting on a big HEPA filter. Not that the buck a day it 'saves' is a reason to do this, but why not.
I did add the fast charger to adapt it to it's new use.
So
So simple to setup and use ANYONE can do it and passes the test of time What more could you want?

I have three Yetis. Love them! Peace of mind amid power outages in New England. My 3000 Yeti kept my mini freezer going all night through the following afternoon with 83% power left. Impressive.

Just bought the 1500x from you. Goal zero told us it can use up to 50 volt input. They said the 1500 ( without the x was limited to 22v). I noticed in your remarks you said only 22v. Was that remark about the 1500 not the 1500 X. Just double checking.
