Is 6 1/2" the height? If so - does that include the handle?

From the bottom to top of the lantern portion is 6.5" without the handle. The product weight is just over 1 lb. The lantern is designed to be outdoors and can operate properly below freezing temperatures. The battery will typically need to be changed after 1-3 years.
