Pleased with the light
January 24, 2021
When light was received the plate that held the batteries in was broken and the batteries were all hanging loose, I called and reported it, a new plate was mailed to me and placed it in the light. After 2 days of charging the light is working and stayed on for 12 hours. Very happy with the product.
Pros
- Light is staying on much longer then I anticipated very happy with the product

Great Solar Light
January 28, 2020
A large fixture with great lighting and battery/run-time characteristics. They are not cheap, but seem very well made and do the trick at the entry to our road.
Pros
- Bright, long-run-time, sturdy, easy to install on an existing 3" post.
Cons
- Pricey, but good value.

Nice large size light
May 19, 2019
I bought these as a gift for my friend and I needed large solar lights...their brick pillars are very large. They loved the lights! Large and beautiful...the lights shine brightly!
They are worth the price!

Very bright, nice it has 2 light settings.
May 12, 2019
Light is very bright, even at the low setting. What I did not like is the mounting screws did not come with the unit, and where the screws would be installed were blocked with paint/metal fragments. Which made installing the unit to my poll a bit of a pain! Be aware all night (8hrs +) achieved at low light setting.
Pros
- Light lumes, and optional intensity setting.
Cons
- Received quality

Very Nice and Elegant
April 2, 2019
So far, the solar light is working fine. It looks great. I had the light for about two weeks now. I like that the solar panels are on 5 areas of the light to catch the sun rays. I purchased the wall mount and placed the light on our garage. It was very easy to assemble .
The light is larger than I thought. Since I purchased the wall mount and the light is large, the mount arm part needs to extend out more. I had to place the light further down on the front of the garage than I expected so that the light would fit underneath the peak. I also feel that for the price, the light should shine brighter. Other than these minor observations, the light is working fine. It looks beautiful.
I just hope that it keeps working for years to come.

Pros
- Very Attractive Looking. It looks beautiful
- There are 5 areas where the solar panels are placed for the sun rays to charge the light
- Easy to assemble
- Worked the first night even though there wasn't much sunlight
Cons
- Since the light is large, the wall mount arm part should extend further outward so that the light could fit right underneath the garage peak.
- Very expensive
- Light could shine brighter

I would like to mount on top of a brick wall. Do you have a mounting piece for it? Thanks
1 Answer
We do not sell this lamp in a pier/base mount configuration. However, we recommend checking with your local hardware store, as they may carry a 3" fitter to Pier mount adapter. All of our base mount ready fixtures can be found in the below section:

I'm comparing the Windsor and the Imperial 2. It looks like the Imperial 2 has twice the battery storage and 20 vs 12 LED lights, and it can put out 350 vs 150 lumens. (Correct me if I'm wrong! Are the LED lights in the two lamps different? 20/12 |= 350/150.) Are the solar cells in the Imperial 2 larger? I would think this is the limiting factor for lighting in the winter. If not you'll eventually have a battery insufficiently charged to run the lights for long winter evenings after overcast days.
1 Answer
Both lights need 8-10 hours of direct sunlight in order to yield the stated run-time. It just comes down to style and brightness and the Imperial II is definitely brighter.
