I Like These
These fixtures emit an appreciable amount of light radially, due to their tall lighting area and 9 led lights. What really sets these apart is the anchor system, with built-in bubble-level and robust anchor. Getting these plumb is easier and more sturdy than others I've used.
ProsAdvertised specs seem accurate. About 100 lumens, 8-10 hour duration. Claimed color temp of 6000K is maybe off a bit. I prefer a bluer light. These are maybe 5500K, IMO, but still white enough for contemporary settings. Top unit seems very-well designed to handle the elements. Anchor kit is the best I've come across - very nice design. Black plastic bottom parts can be removed for painting, which I might do since I wanted the discontinued silver color. Top units could also be painted with care to protect the solar panel area.
Cons* No instructions included. I needed to download from EarthTech or GamaSonic.
* One fixture would not turn off during the day - replacement top unit shipped immediately and fixed issue.
* Optional 2nd battery should be included, or at least offered when purchasing. Only long, bright, sunny days provide enough charge to stay on all night. I ordered the 2nd batteries from Home Depot, which helps a lot.
