Overall, I think the entire Power monkey kit is great. The only CON I have is a little bigger bag to carry the parts around in. Would help with us off-the-road backpackers.

This is not only good for camping and travel but it is a
good thing to have around in case of power failure. Charges up
phone quickly. However, would be nice if the solar charged the
monkey up a little quicker than it does. Kinda slow on that
end.

Bought to use with an iPhone 3gs. Provides long backup
power with continual internet surfing like at the airport. Works
with 3gs but if jostled repeatedly, iPhone will not recognize
charge. About a 7 hour solar charge will charge it from half way
up. Fast wall charging with many adapters, so will work well all
over the world. Have not tested under camping conditions. Multiple
phone adapters also included too.

I bought this product figuring that it would be a cool
new gadget to have and, after checking the reviews, I figured that
I did not have anything to lose. Well, it works exactly as
advertised. I tried the Power Monkey with all my electronics; it
works with my iTouch, Motorola Razr, and my new Samsung Gravity T
phone. The only item it did not work with was the iPod Nano that my
wife bought me (the iPod attachment does not work with the iPod
Nano). However, by using the USB attachment provided with my Power
Monkey and the USB cable supplied with my iPod, I was able to
charge it with no problems. Overall, it is a great product. You
can't go wrong with it.
