The Voltaic solar backpack is large enough to use for business trips, camping and as an overnight bag with its 1850 cubic inches of space. There are pockets and wire channels for multiple electronic devices like cell phones, pda's and GPA's. Take this Voltaic Solar Backpack anywhere!
On days the sun isn’t shining, use the included Li Ion battery charger that stores excess power from sunny days for charging when the durable, water and scratch-proof solar panels don’t have access to the sun. The battery pack can also be charged using an AC travel charger or car charger (both included). This makes the Voltaic Solar Backpacks just as useful on the grid as off. Turn heads with this lightweight bag in your choice of three solar panel colors.
Just plug a standard car charger into the bag using the included CLA (car lighter adaptor) and recharge most small electronic devices including: cell phones, cameras, two way radios, PDA's, and MP3s. Note: it is not designed to charge laptops. If you don't have a car charger, the bags come with a set of 11 standard adaptors for common cell phones and other devices.
The three panels operate independently to generate up to 4 watts of power. This is double the power of typical solar chargers and enough to charge most portable consumer electronics (other than laptop computers). The substrate is an aluminum / plastic composite, specifically designed to be strong and lightweight. They can easily stand up to typical outdoor use including being dropped and leaned on.

| Whats Included:
- Battery Pack: Includes a 2,200mAh Li-Ion battery pack with 3 voltage settings to store solar power
- The battery pack can be recharged using the solar panels in the bag, the included AC travel charger, or the car charger. Which means it is just as useful in the city as it is traveling, hiking, or camping.
- Charge Indicator: This indicates how much charge is left in the battery and also that it is receiving a charge.
- Voltage Converter: A voltage converter switch on top of the battery pack allows you to adjust the power output to suit the device being charged, 5, 6, or 7.2 Volts. Virtually all cell phones, most PDA's, and USB charges run at 5V. The 7.2V setting is useful for devices like larger digital cameras and iPods, or when using a car charger.
- LED Torch: There is a very bright LED torch on the face of the battery, which lasts approximately 55 hours on a charge. The battery pack clips inside the back pocket of the bag, and can be removed for use separately
- AC travel charger & DC car charger: When not in the sun, the battery can be charged using the AC travel charger or DC car charger
- 11 standard adaptors: Comes with 11 standard adaptors including a car charger socket and USB adaptor so you can always use a standard charger for your device
- Universal adaptor plugs: Includes adaptor plugs in universal sizes and for common cell phones, which eliminate the need to use a car charger for common devices
