The Midland XT511 Base Camp Radio is a powerful 2-way radio that can be used to communicate with any other FRS or GMRS type of walkie-talkies. Keep your line of communication safe by encoding your chosen frequency with one of 121 CTCSS/DCS codes that allows you to only hear those other stations that you want to hear and not be interrupted by other users on the same channel.
Ideal for hiking, biking, or other outdoor activities, you can effectively communicate a over one-half mile on FRS frequencies under less than ideal urban terrain or up to 20 miles under ideal line of sight conditions on GMRS frequencies. And aside from the AM/FM function, the Midland Radio is also a NOAA Weather Radio, allowing you to keep informed of weather reports directly from NOAA. An easy to use menu system allows you to turn on or off the many features that are included. Be on top of the situation every time you're outdoors with the Midland Base Camp Radio from C Crane. |
